Top Five - 01
catyuy asked for 'Top 5 Remakes/renewals/adaptations that you wish would happen.'

* The Pern novels as a movie or series.

* A Jane Eyre production with Peter Wingfield as Mr. Rochester (I used to have an icon for that, but it isn't currently loaded).

* Another season of Queen of Swords.

* A followup miniseries of the original Christy TV series.

* A new Bonanza series.

And she had a whole list of fives, and I said she only gets one, but I'll give her a second :)

'Top 5 canon couples.'

* Han/Leia

* Lessa/F'lar

* Jane Eyre/Edward Rochester

* Arwen/Aragorn

* Luc/Kate (French Kiss) Barney/Robin (How I Met Your Mother)

(It was really hard coming up with five!)

Yippe I got two.
* The Pern novels as a movie or series.
Oh I agree completely.
* A Jane Eyre production with Peter Wingfield as Mr. Rochester.
That would be nice.
* Another season of Queen of Swords.
If only

* Han/Leia
Of course.

I've never read the Pern novels (they're on my "to read" list), but I would LOVE to see John Varley's Gaea trilogy on screen. Seeing Narnia's centaurs makes me think it's possible to portray Titanides!

I've worn out two paperback sets of the Pern novels. Started reading them when I was sixteen, and reread them every year for quite a while after that. Should probably get them in hardback one of these days!

Oh, a Pern movie would rock. Of course it would need a good plot and actors, as well as the killer fx.

It's almost happened a few times as a TV project, but one thing or another scuttled it. Kind of a bummer that the Tremaire(sp?) novels are going to be made into movies first. Not that I don't really like them, but I've been waiting decades for Pern to hit the big screen :)

Both your top5s are very similar with mine :) Wow :)
