My Order Is In
Told my mum I wanted roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for my birthday dinner next week. Even if it is going to be 100+ outside. Not my fault my birthday's in the summer! Will have to go down to the canning room and pull out a couple of the nice bottles of wine I have tucked away.

Speaking of orders, did you look outside your front door today? ;)

that was a total food squee!

we have yorkshire pudding every time we have roast beast, and we have to make vast quantities of it, due to its popularity in my family. i think we use my nana's recipe, but i'm not sure.

now i seriously want roast beast and yorkshire.

I always say roast beef is just a way to get Yorkshire pudding and gravy :)

I've never had Yorkshire pudding, what's it taste like?
Ithithildyn on July 9th, 2009 09:56 pm (UTC)
Well, they're very similar to what Americans call popovers. Except savoury, since you use drippings on the bottom of the pan.
