Fannish

Pillaged from cyberducks

Do you remember your first ever thing you were fannish about as a wee one?

What fandom was your first (fan fic) reading fandom?

Are you very monofannish or a fickle fannish butterfly?

Did you ever feel really fannish and obsessed about a tv show/movie/book, etc. but without having the desire to write/read fan fic?

Did you ever have a fandom that was totally ruined for you by canon and/or fandom politics?

Where were you fannishly in 2003?

Where were you fannishly in 2005?

I'm going to say The Lone Ranger, mostly because I loved the show and I distinctly remember how excited I was when it was the first TV show I ever got to see in colour. I was four or five at the time :)

Well, Blake's 7 was the first fandom I bought zines in.

I have a few core fandoms, but there's lots of things I'm fannish about.

Lord of the Rings. It's my one true fandom, but I never have had the desire to read or write fic. And that's true for most of my fandoms. I'm much more unlikely to read or write fic for the majority of the stuff I'm fannnish about.

Earth Final Conflict! I adored that show, I was really into it, and then it just got stupid and I stopped watching. Can't even recall now what it was that happened, but I do remember just giving it up cold turkey.

2003 was the year of Pirate's of the Caribbean! We went to see it, not expecting much, and BAM! Not only did I become obsessed with the movie, but I became a big Johnyy Depp fan, having never seen any of his movies prior to PotC. Nin and I saw it pretty much every weekend during its release.

2005 (boy is IMDB helpful for these last two!) was my Grey's Anatomy year. Really loved it, along with second season House. Two shows I got extremely fannish about to the point of writing fic.
