They Taunt Me
This year, Robert Burns' 250 birthday, is Homecoming Scotland year, and they keep sending me these taunting emails. God, how I wish I could go!! I'm fortunate that I've been to Scotland three times in my life, but on those trips, I didn't know where my grandmother hailed from (she dies when my mum was two). I finally discovered that information few years back (It's Aberdeen, and that's one of the places I haven't been to.) Well, maybe if I have a job soonish, I could make it for Hogmanay :) That's my dream trip anyways!

And here are some wonderful photos courtesy of National Geographic. More taunting!

Pffft! [HUGS] you know, Scotland is the only other place in the world I can imagine living in. I love it so much. I'm always amused when I visit how many times people stop to ask me for directions somewhere or other and then I open my mouth and they realize I'm not from around there LOL
