Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
A Ghost of Winter's Past: My first ever posted fic, and still a favourite. I love the relationship between Methos and LaCroix, and the glimpse back to LaCroix's childhood. I love writing Methos and LaCroix snark/banter!
Oaths: One of my few non xover stories. I like that I presented a plausible reason for LaCroix's actions in the flashback of 'A More Permanent Hell', and writing a mostly historical fic that dealt with reincarnation was something I very much enjoyed. And letting Nick see another side to LaCroix was satisfying. Oh, and the story made me cry. Still does!
I Remember You Not Fondly: I think this was the hardest thing I've ever written from an emotional standpoint. I hate doing awful things to my characters, and boy, did they get stomped on in this one! I've always loved the concept of alternate universes, and this story fed that love quite nicely. Then there was the challenge of writing an AU Methos, one who'd made it to the 24th century as much of a bastard as the one we saw in the CAH flashbacks. I don't ever want to write that Methos again, but I'm glad I did write him at least once.
Irreconcilable Differences: A story with no happy ending, and that theme flows through the sequels to this. It's technically a crossover with Grey's Anatomy, but mostly that was to give Methos a place to be a surgeon. I always say this story is about the price of immortality, and while it's angsty, I also think it's satisfying. Things just don't always work out, no matter how hard you try or how much you love.
Practical Applications: Ah, Tony! Part of the reason I love this story is that it was totally unplanned. Tony Stark just walked in and took over, deciding that my mostly Highlander series would be so much more fun if he was a part of it! The other thing I like about this story is that I get to explore a close friendship, something I don't think is valued as much as it should be. And it was the first of what was going to become a lot of Tony stories, not that Tony shared that information at the time!
