Japan - Autumn Leaves Geisha

Welcome to the seventeenth installment of Methos Episode Discussion. You can find the last one, for The Modern Prometheus here. All prior episode discussion links can be found over on the sidebar.

Archangel, Air Date: May 1997

The dead are walking the streets of Paris. The forces of evil are coming. Is MacLeod being readied for some higher calling -- or is he simply losing his mind? ~ recap and quotes via tv.com

Next up will be Indiscretions aka The Methos & Joe Show.

A Bit Later: I'm going to try and put up a first season poll at some point today to take votes for the next raft of discussions. You can find the poll here. Then I'll include a link to the poll with the last two scheduled discussions: Indiscretions & To Be/Not To Be.

Season One Highlander Discussion Poll

Below is the poll for you to choose which S1 episodes you want to discuss once we're done with the Methos episodes. You can vote for as many as you like, and I'm thinking we'll go with the top 10-12? But I'm open to other ideas obviously.

If, like me, you have trouble putting titles together with the actual ep, you can look here for recaps of each episode.

What a pain! Do you know how hard it is to find a free poll service that allows multiple choice responses (LJ being one that doesn't either)? I went through four before I found this one, and it limits each poll to ten questions, so that's why it's in three sections. Sorry 'bout that.

More apologies! The service I chose didn't work out. Seven free web poll sites later, I think I've found a good one. If you voted previously, you'll need to vote again. I've typed in season one titles so many times today, I think I now have them memorized!

Casa de Fruitcake!

This just tickles me no end: hollister2008 for reasons besides the obvious. When I get home I shall regale you with the tale of being on the bid committee for 'WorldCon at Myles' House' back in my misspent youth!

(Casa de Fruitcake is what ninjababe and I call Casa de Fruita) (excellent bathroom and snack stop on our way south) (just up the road a piece from where we live)

Luis Royo is Artist GOH at Norwescon 30 in April 2007. Is there even a remote possibility I could go? Probably not, but it would be terrific! Norwescon 5 back in 1982 was the very first real SF con I ever attended. I had a blast, even if I did have the flu and was running a fever :)

Yes, I'm really that old! Argh! [g]

All this con info I've been looking for is making me all desperate to go to a con. I haven't been to one since ConJose, WorldCon 60 in 2002! [sigh] and I pre supported L.A. Con IV this August and everything, and I can't believe I can't go. Excuse me while I go pout.
