If I'd ever had any sympathy for Regina, it's totally gone now.

More in depth later when I'm not so sleepy--maybe.

I know! All these episodes building her up with a shade of grey.. then last night's episodes just trash them! Bugs me, I liked the shades of grey they had on all the "villains"

As I tweeted last night, "Unless the price of Regina's magic turns out to be some sort of brain tumor, there's some seriously sloppy writing going on here."

Morality aside, she's made some shortsighted choices before (in both EF flashbacks and Storybrooke), but everything she did in this ep was downright stupid. Every single choice was counterproductive even in the immediate term, and her failure to comprehend other people's responses was far FAR beyond its usual abject state.

I don't require them to make her sympathetic (though I enjoy her more when she has flashes of it), but even "interesting" goes right out the window if you're jettisoning "remotely believable." :-/
