'Lady and the Tiger'
Highlander Season One

I'm sorry I'm late getting this up today. I had one heck of a morning and totally spaced.

Lady and the Tiger, Air Date: April 1993

A day at the circus reunites MacLeod with a former lover, the Immortal femme-fatale, Amanda, who has always meant big trouble for him. Amanda, meanwhile, is in trouble of her own as her former partner, Blaine, has escaped from prison and wants her head. She plays the two Immortal men against each other, drawing MacLeod into a daring, high-stakes burglary she and Blaine are plotting.quotes via tv.com

And here you will find the S2 episode poll. Vote for which eps you'd like to see discussed after we finish up with S1.

Next up will be The Hunters. That will be the last of the S1 episodes, so remember to help choose which S2 eps you'd like to discuss.

Music Box: Howard Shore & Philippa Boyens - Lothlorien

You know, I wish I still had my ramblings about these shows when we talked about them on Highlandgirl. Ah well.

One thing about this is that I didn't particularly like this first Amanda. She was rather selfish and put Duncan's life at unnecessary risk - both in the flashback and the present. I'm glad she came back and her character was able to grow and mature.

One other thing we talked about was the fight and quickening. After Duncan beat Blaine in the fight - then Amanda sneaks up behind him and takes his head. Which to me was not in character for Duncan to tolerate. It's a good ep, but once again - I'm glad Amdana's character changed in later episodes from this spiteful, selfish woman.

Hmm do you need a doctor sent round to see why you are "spaced?"

Hope you feel better soon :)
