It's no secret I love my bruschetta, but tonight, it was sooooo good! (yes, I'm modest, aren't I?) Earlier in the year,. I'd done it on the BBQ grill outside, and decided to do that again tonight. I had bought some hickory wood briquettes at Costco last week when we did the cheese run, and Glenn fired them up. The combo of the wood smoke and the sourdough baguette, along with the goat cheese and the medley of flavours from the tomatoes, garlic, herbs, etc., was amazingly delectable. I wish there was more! But I'm being good and saving the rest of the makings for when Nin gets home from work. So perfection and made by flashlight! By the time I got home from work, and Glenn went to the store, and I put it all together, it was dark.
