In other news....
Nin and I completed a rewatch of all the LotR and Hobbit movies. We finally cracked open the extended Battle of the Five Armies while we were at it. It was my least fave of the 3, but I think the extended version actually improved it. Last night, I rewatched, and Nin watched all the way through for the first time, North and South, the BBC Richard Armitage one. Tonight, I'm thinking of trying out Stranger Things on Netflix, as I've heard so much good about it.

Did anyone else watch The Last Kingdom? I really liked it! Sort of Vikings from the other POV. I'd read one of the novels years ago, and had enjoyed it. We also really enjoyed Outlander this season. Oh, and Poldark! Pretty!!

Good for you! I've sort of lost track of TV--I never get much time in front of the set thanks to the kids--but I'm glad you've had a good time!

Streaming has definitely changed the way we watch TV.

Were the extended editions of the Hobbit trilogy worth watching?

I think so. It actually improved the last one IMHO.
