Been a while  
The apricots (of which we have five trees) boom! were ripe and falling off the trees in the high winds we've been having. So for the last two weekends, and not a few weeknights, I've been canning. Have 20+ jars of preserves (apricot orange, apricot blackberry, apricot, and apricot cherry), plus jars of plain apricot puree. I think I have a few weeks before the peaches are ready. I hope.

I tried out a great recipe the other day for chicken that used apricot jam and garlic as major seasonings. It came out great! Let me know if you'd like it.

Yes! Please :) I've recently discovered that jams are great bases for BBQ sauces, and since my brother just bought a smoker/bbq duo, I have something to use up the jam with!

feel free to send jam my way. I've found this blueberry preserves that's really good, Trappist Preserves, I haven't gotten any in a long time though
